about DAWN

Dawn grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.  She got her start in the legal field working part time during junior high and high school for her father, who was an estate planning, probate and real estate attorney.  Dawn graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Decree in History.  During her college years she worked part time for a law firm in downtown Chicago during her school breaks.  After  graduating from college and getting married, she relocated to central Illinois where she worked for a law firm specializing in estate planning, probate and divorce. 

Dawn, her husband Bill, and their two children moved to Arizona in 1986.  Dawn worked as a paralegal for two law firms from 1986 to 1998, concentrating in the areas of family law, probates, bankruptcies and estate planning.  Dawn opened her present business, Arizona Legal Services, in 1998 and has been preparing documents for people statewide ever since.  Dawn has received certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants and was one of the first  in Arizona to receive her designation as an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer.  Dawn is also a Notary Public and a member of Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals.

Dawn's husband is an insurance broker and his office is in the same office complex.  He also offers sailboat cruises on his 22' Catalina on Lake Pleasant.

Dawn's son, Steve Kaiser, his wife, and three boys reside in North Phoenix.  Steve is presently an AZ State Legislator and owns his own junk hauling business, Junk King.

Dawn's daughter, Katie DeYoung, her husband and four children also reside in North Phoenix.  Katie also shares office space with Dawn and has her own paralegal business known as AZ Paralegal Services.

Free time is devoted to spending time with friends and family (and most importantly her 7 grandchildren!), relaxing with a good book, travelling and enjoying beautiful Arizona.
